JESSICA BIZER
Jessica Bizer is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is centered on transformative power of color and shape. Blending a range of digital and analog sources, her work reflects the dynamic interplay between the physical and virtual realms. Her textile designs for Altar reflect the mystery and sense of fluidity contained in this infinitely layered environment.
She lives and works in New Orleans, where she is a founding member of the Good Children Gallery. Her recent projects include immersive video installations and collaborations with performers and musicians. Her work is included in the collections of the Benetton Corporation and the New Orleans Museum of Art. She has also been highlighted in publications including Nylon, Hyperallergic, and Miami New Times, and on National Public Radio's Studio 360.
